The funds of the Association come from ticket sales for its regular performances inside of Sovanna Phum Theatre, for its entertainment (Anniversary, Congress, Tourist group etc.) outside of Sovanna Phum Theatre, for its sell (Music Instruments, Masks and Leather Puppets etc.), and for its providing SP infrastructure (Scene, Lorry…); and above all, thanks to cooperation from partners (Organization International, NGO, Government…) for arts and developments projects
This financing however, just barely covers current expenses, and makes it difficult to improve the necessary infrastructure as the Association continues to grow. As the priority is to provide the artist’s salaries, it is hoped that funding through increased partnerships can further support Sovanna Phum’s activities in preserving Khmer culture through performing arts.
